OWee 2026

Moving forward!

OWee is a week packed with events for all incoming students at TU Delft, The Hague University of Applied Sciences, and Inholland University of Applied Sciences in Delft. During this week, you’ll discover everything Delft has to offer. Plus, you’ll make new friends! From the campus and student clubs to fun spots around town: we’ve got it all covered! During this week, everyone can find their own place in Delft.

The OWee 2026 will take place from Sunday, August 16, through Thursday, August 20, 2026.

Sign up for OWee!

There are two ways to participate in the OWee: in a group with mentors or in an independent group. Both follow the same program. If you choose an independent group, you’ll be assigned a spot immediately after registering. If you’re interested in a group with mentors, first let us know; we’ll do our best to place you in a mentor group. If we’re unable to place you, you can still participate in an independent group.

You can register until 8:00 a.m. on August 12 at the latest.

*Important Information for Prospective Students

Introduction Program (IP)

The Introduction Program (IP) is organized by TU Delft for all incoming Master’s, exchange, and transition students who are studying at TU Delft for the first time. The IP is a comprehensive program designed to help incoming students get off to a good start with their studies at TU Delft. Together with students from all over the world and from other faculties, you’ll get to know each other and the academic culture at TU Delft as a team, explore the campus, and develop the academic skills you’ll need during your studies.

Are You Okay? – Campaign

During Welcome Week, we believe it’s important for everyone to feel safe, welcome, and at ease. That’s why we’re running the “Are You Okay?” campaign. The campaign aims to make you and all other (prospective) students aware of inappropriate behavior and shows how you can help if someone doesn’t feel safe or comfortable. Inappropriate behavior is behavior that does not respect a person’s personal boundaries. Examples include offensive comments, unwanted physical contact, or pressuring someone.

The campaign shows that, as a bystander, you can make a difference. By paying close attention and asking, “Are you okay?”, you show that you’re there for someone. Sometimes, a simple question like that is enough to offer someone support or break the ice in an uncomfortable situation. In this way, the campaign encourages you and all other students to look out for one another more often and work together to create a safe environment.
