Why participate?

The OWee is a multi-day event for all incoming first-year students at TU Delft, Inholland University of Applied Sciences, and The Hague University of Applied Sciences.

It’s important that you feel at home in the city where you’ll be studying. During the OWee, you’ll get to see everything Delft has to offer. This will help you find your own place and start your college life well-prepared.

  • Make yourself at home

    Starting college in a new city is a big step. During OWee, we’ll help you get your bearings in Delft and find a great spot in your new city!

  • Find your place

    During OWee, you can discover what suits you best. Discover new hobbies or find a place to pursue your old passions.

  • Make new friends

    You definitely won’t be doing OWee on your own! You’ll immediately get to know your fellow students and two mentors. You’re sure to run into these people again and again throughout your studies!

  • Study

    This is your chance to get to know your program and your new classmates. During OWee, you’ll learn all about the campus and the faculties, and get a taste of what it’s like to study in Delft!

  • Clubs

    All clubs have opened their doors, so you can see if there’s something that suits you. This applies not only to social clubs but also to sports and cultural clubs.

  • The city of Delft

    You’ll get to know Delft through programs like “Discover Delft.” You’ll also discover all the fun student hangouts that you’ll likely visit often during your time in Delft.

  • Events

    During OWee, there are lots of different events and parties. You won’t want to miss them! Head out with your OWee group on the Backstage Campus Tour, let loose together at the Opening Party, or check out the creative, laid-back program at X!
