This year, OWee will take place again from Sunday, August 16, through Thursday, August 20. Would you like to help out? Then seize this opportunity and join an OWee committee!
We are looking for new committee members for OWee TV, the communications managers, and the event managers.

Communications Manager
Do you enjoy helping people? Have you always wondered how to build an app or website and keep it up to date? Curious about how to efficiently divide 4,000 people into groups based on 29 different majors and match them with mentors? And how do you ensure that all 400 groups find each other and receive their correct OWee materials within a time window of just 4 hours?
Then the Communications Manager role is perfect for you! As a Communications Manager , you’ll be the backbone of OWee’s communications. You’ll handle everything that keeps OWee running smoothly in the digital realm—and so much more!
Together with 5 committee members and 2 supervisors from the board, there are plenty of challenges to choose from: You’ll be forming the OWee groups, ensuring that all participants check in smoothly , and you’ll have the freedom to organize other events during OWee. You’ll learn how to use the OWee website and app and become an expert on registrations and any issues that may arise. During OWee, you’ll help anyone with questions at the info desk, and in the evenings, you’ll be free to experience all OWee events as a VIP!

OWee TV
As an OWee TV reporter, you’ll cover all the events during OWee in a fun and engaging way every day, so you’ll be part of every party during OWee! You get to choose whether you want to be in front of or behind the camera, what you want to film, and how you want to edit it. Not convinced yet?

Do you prefer photography? That’s an option too! At OWee TV, you’ll also be responsible for all the photos taken throughout the week. You’ll get backstage access to all OWee events and experience the OWee up close. Finally, there are of course other opportunities as well, such as creating TikToks, conducting interviews, and more!
As part of OWee TV, you’ll meet up a few times before OWee to get to know each other and the board, learn how to use cameras, and come up with fun ideas for what you want to capture during OWee! Does this sound like fun? Then sign up for OWee TV!
Event Manager
During OWee, there are countless logistical processes that need to be managed smoothly—from setting up stages to delivering food to participants. Would you enjoy being involved in organizing OWee? As an event manager, you’ll be responsible for various aspects of OWee alongside 11 others. You’ll work closely with the OWee Board to both organize and ensure the smooth running of parties and other events. You’ll make sure suppliers are welcomed properly and that any “fires” that come up during OWee are quickly put out!
