For all first-year Architecture students, Stylos organizes the SteeWee (Stylos Freshmen Weekend).

The SteeWee is THE weekend to get to know your new fellow students and your study for the first time. The weekend will take place from Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16, 2026, after which you can immediately continue on to the OWee. The weekend costs €105. For this price, participants will be provided with accommodation for the entire weekend, as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner (excluding drinks). In addition, this is THE opportunity to get to know your fellow students in a different setting. You will be introduced to the Faculty of Architecture, the Stylos study association, the city of Delft, and of course each other. During the day, various activities will take place both at the Faculty of Architecture and elsewhere in the city. In the evenings, you can party into the late hours while enjoying a beer or a non-alcoholic drink. There will also be quieter evening activities for those who prefer that. All in all, it promises to be an epic weekend not to be missed.

The EOW (Electrical Engineering Welcome Weekend) is a four-day event packed with activities where you’ll not only get to know your fellow freshmen, but also learn about the program, the faculty, Delft, and the Electrical Engineering Student Association (ETV for short). 

This year, the weekend will take place from Thursday, August 13, through Sunday, August 16, after which you can head straight to the OWee. The registration fee will be around €75, of which €25 is the ETV membership fee. Once you’ve paid this, you’ll remain a member for the rest of your studies, entitling you to discounts on books and access to all our activities. So be sure to sign up! Get to know all your future classmates at the Industrial Design program’s epic Freshmen Weekend. This weekend is packed with fun, interesting, and inspiring activities designed to help you bond with your classmates. During this event, you’ll be staying overnight at the faculty where you’ll be studying, so you’ll get to know it well, too!

This weekend takes place from August 15–17 (prior to OWee). The total cost is 55 euros. This price includes membership in the study association! Tijdens het Eerstejaarsweekend voor Werktuigbouwkunde zullen alle eerstejaars elkaar voor het eerst ontmoeten. Je zult kennis maken met elkaar door vele activiteiten, waaronder een cantus, festival en vele spellen! Dit is de kans om je studiegenootjes te ontmoeten en om je eerste vrienden binnen Delft en de studie Werktuigbouwkunde te maken. Ook vorm je tijdens dit weekend je OWee groepje waarmee je de hele OWee zal doorlopen en de eerste tijd van je studie doorbrengt.

Het weekend vindt plaats van 14 t/m 16 augustus. De kosten zijn 139,32 euro voor het hele weekend. Voor 146,82 euro krijg je daarnaast al direct 10 munten erbij! In het weekend is inbegrepen:
- Een heel weekend aan activiteiten
- Eten en drinken tijdens dit weekend (ontbijt, lunch, avondeten)
- Een bar waar bier en fris kan worden gehaald met onze munten
- Lidmaatschap van Gezelschap Leeghwater, waarmee je tijdens je studie kan genieten van talloze activiteiten, hulp bij je studie en onze boekenverkoop!
- Een overall voor in de werkplaats op de faculteit (die zijn daar verplicht!)

During the Freshmen Weekend for first-year Earth, Climate, and Technology students (August 14–17), we’ll travel to the countryside and discover many of the interesting things our program has to offer. 

We’ll start with a visit to a few companies where an EC&T student might end up working, after which we’ll continue on to Belgium. In addition to a few excursions and a geological hike, there will be plenty of free time to get to know your fellow students better! Plus, you’ll learn more about the student association and its committees when all committee members join us for a day of fun in Belgium!

Het Civiel Ontvangst Weekend, ook wel het COW genoemd, is het leukste weekend dat je in je leven zal meemaken. Dit is namelijk hét moment om snel je studiegenootjes te leren kennen en nieuwe vrienden te maken voor het leven! Dit epische weekend zal plaatsvinden van 13 tot 16 augustus en sluit dus perfect aan op de OWee. Tijdens dit weekend zijn er veel leuke activiteiten, zoals een cantus en grote spellenrondes. Hierdoor zal je niet alleen je mede-kalfjes leren kennen, maar ook leren wat de studie Civiele Techniek en haar studievereniging Het Gezelschap “Practische Studie”, ook wel PS genoemd, te bieden heeft. Daarnaast krijg je van ons een dak boven je hoofd, ontbijtje/lunch en een heerlijk vegetarisch avondmaaltijd. Dit alles voor maar een bedrag van €90 (incl. lidmaatschap PS)!! The Freshmen Weekend gives you the perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow students before the academic year officially begins. It’s really great to walk into the lecture hall on the first day and run into the new friends you met during the Freshmen Weekend. The MST student associations, the Chemisch Dispuut Leiden and the Technologisch Gezelschap, are organizing a weekend full of fun activities, a chance to explore both cities, lots of singing, and of course, partying! The weekend starts on Friday, August 8, and ends on Monday, August 11. Don’t worry, you’ll still have time to attend the OWee and the EL CID—the program wraps up in the morning.

The VSV “Leonardo da Vinci” is the student association for the Aerospace Engineering (LR) program. From August 13 through 16, the VSV is organizing the Freshmen Weekend with over 300 first-year students. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know your future fellow LR students, the VSV, and the program.

This weekend promises to be a fun time filled with activities that will help you get to know your fellow students and the student association. As a prospective student, you definitely don’t want to miss this! Especially since during the Freshmen Weekend, you’ll immediately go on a field trip to a major shipbuilder, Damen. There, you’ll see firsthand what maritime engineering looks like in practice. Starting with the Freshmen Weekend, you’ll immediately get to know the wonderful student life in Delft with a group you’ll form during the event. Your first OWee is one you’ll often look back on later in your student life.
